since 2003 in IT Service Management Consulting (ITIL)

Evaluating organisation workflows and status of IT Service Management processes regarding CMM, with main focus on the service aspect of IT departments. Consulting and support in applying best practice ITIL processes. Improving concepts for trainings and workshops in ITIL Service Management.

1996 - 2003 in ICT Telekommunications field

Establishing effective strategies for functional, system and integration tests, managing and performing acceptance tests at international customer sites (Austria, Switzerland, France, Dominican Republic), designing and implementing script based automated test runs, test case and data management, test documentation, building simulated test environments, thus improving the quality assurance processes, increased customer satisfaction in international projects, achieved significantly shorter test cycles, improved effectiveness in performing tests.

Applying QA methods early in software life cycle, reviewing and verifying requirements and specifications. Implementing customer acceptance tests. Performing tool based automation of multi platform tests, defect management, troubleshooting and verification. Successfully accomplished test design and implementation working with US based management in teams with diverse background.

Implementing QA processes with workflow applications by designing and implementing applications for internal software delivery, approval processes and release management. Trained and coached staff in using these applications. Facilitated implementation of QA processes, significantly improved management information and team communication across departments, increased staff motivation by training and coaching.

2003, 1999, 1991 and 1986 in Financial Services

Function and system testing of information and data management (n-tier-Architecture with web services) of a consumer card system. testcase specification, test run automation, test documentation.

Implementing organization processes in Lotus Notes Domino workflow applications, achieving improvements connecting bank offices to the data center. Developing additions to workflow applications, improving mail templates, localizing and correcting defects and implementing lotus script agents and macros for document management and mail communication.

Programmed data storage modules and data handling procedures in Cobol and Assembler on IBM and Siemens mainframes. Adapting the ICES library by programming fortran routines for practical mathematics.

2000 - 2001, 1994 - 1995 in Logistic Services

Defined quality assurance processes applying principles of TQM. Motivated staff, explaining advantages of QA processes; Implementation supported of a project management system, coached employees in applying this program system.

Accomplished quality assurance for transport logistics software with shipping data tracking & tracing and EDI document clearing. Reviewed specifications, designed and implemented multi platform functional, integration, and performance and load tests. Designed and developed test cases and scenarios, implemented automated test runs. Analyzed and evaluated test results.

1986 - 1996 in IT Services for commerce and hardware industry

Designing and implementing a Lotus Notes based customer contact database for managing and tracking activities, including Lotus Script mail agents and document managing. Performed the rollout including remote and in-house connections. Trained the employees in working with these applications.

Improved office workflow by developing macro scripts for standard office applications; Facilitated evaluation of an automated telescope control by programming telescope control routines.

Quality assurance for a stock trading software system, test environments and routines for database GUI. Developed and tested multi platform systems for micro chip design. Performed functional and system tests of CAD systems. Data conversions, assisting microchip design, and statistic modules with nationalized texts. Prototyping of the communication part for a remotely distributed project management system. Developed and tested text systems for train schedule announcements. Assisted in preparation of a training workshop for a CASE tool.
